The Finca
Nestled in the Rio Colorado valley, Finca Doña Elda occupies a small plot known as "Platanares," named after the Spanish term for the plane tree, under whose shade coffee and banana plants find refuge. This micro lot is overseen directly by the farm's foreman, also known as capataz, Francisco Villeda, affectionately called Panchito, and is dedicated to a member of his family.
